Summerland is a town which was founded in 1902. It is situated 50 kilometers south of Kelowna and approximately 425 kilometers east of Vancouver. It covers a total area of 73.88 square kilometers within the Thompson-Okanagan Plateau Eco-region and has a total population of 11,280.
